Le grand vin d'un
vignoble intimiste

LIKE A GARDEN

In 2008, Thomas Pêtre spotted a simple plot in the hills above Saint-Emilion, instantly attracted by its location and the potential of its terroir. The vineyard, with 2.38 hectares, allows to gain a plant-by-plant knowledge of the vineyard and making of possible to carry out ‘haute couture’ work. Every single gesture is conducted with perseverance and rigour.

Today, Château de Set embodies ample evidence that not the size of the vineyard makes a great wine, but the terroir and the uncompromising work that goes into it.

RADIANCE WITHOUT COMPROMISE

The vineyard is planted with Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%), typical of the Saint-Emilion, on a predominantly clay-limestone soil.
